Las Vegas offers some
of the greatest entertainment options for tourists, including, of
course, the ever present – and always open – casinos that line the
Strip. But Las Vegas has so much more to offer: music, comedy, sporting
events and fine dining are a few of the features that may entice
visitors away from the gaming tables. With nearly 60 golf courses and an
average of more than 360 sunny days per year, odds are good that you can
squeeze a round of golf into your schedule during even a brief stay in
Las Vegas. With a wealth of meeting space, an abundance of hotel rooms
and endless entertainment options on tap 24 hours a day, Las Vegas is
one of the most popular convention and trade show locations. An added
plus, McCarran International Airport is just one mile from the strip, so
getting to and from the airport is a snap.
Las
Vegas Convention Center
The Las Vegas
Convention Center is one of the premier meeting and convention
facilities in the world, with more than 2 million sq. ft. of exhibit
space spread out over 16 exhibit halls separated by movable walls. The
Convention Center’s 144 meeting rooms can be configured to suit many
different purposes, making it one of the most versatile and functional
facilities anywhere. The Las Vegas Convention Center is the city’s
largest facility for trade shows and conventions, but it far from the
only option. The Cashman Center is a multi-use facility with 100,000 sq.
ft. of exhibit space, a 1,922 seat theater and a 10,000 seat baseball
stadium that plays host to the Las Vegas 51’s, the AAA team in the Los
Angeles Dodgers organization. Both the Las Vegas Convention Center and
the Cashman Center are close to downtown Las Vegas and the Strip and are
easily accessible from all of the major hotels.
